Biography
Physical Therapy major... born 9/24/96... son of Philip and Theresa Nanula, Amherst, N.Y... returning for his fourth season, Nanula represented Nazareth at the UNYSCSA/Empire 8 Conference meet at Ithaca and finished 23rd in the 200 backstroke (2:04.61), 27th in the 500 freestyle (5:00.08) and 29th in the 200 freestyle (1:49.34).
2015-16: Nanula swam regularly for the Golden Flyers in 2015-16 and finished 23rd in the 500 freestyle at the UNYSCSA/Empire 8 Conference meet with a time of 4:54.64... also finished 17th in the 1,650 free (17:32.29) and had a time of 1:50.14 in the 200 free.
2014-15: Nanula swam well for Nazareth in 2014-15... placed 15th in the 1,650-yard freestyle (17:18.35) at the UNYS/Empire 8 Conference meet at Webster Aquatic Center... also placed 29th in the 500 freestyle (4:58.40).
Scholastic: a graduate of Clarence High School, Nanula competed on the swim team for four seasons... competed in the state meet in the 400 free relay in 2012 and 2014... helped team to three Section Six titles and one league title... recipient of scholar-athlete award and distinguished community service award.
