Biography
Business Administration major. . . born 2/15/92... son of Don and Eileen Rappold, Niskyuna, N.Y... returning for his second season with the Golden Flyers, Rappold broke the Nazareth school record in the 400 IM as he placed fifth in that event at the UNYSCSA/Empire 8 Conference meet with a time of 4:10.07... also part of school-record swims in the 200- and 400-yard medley relays with times of 1:36.26 and 3:32.29 respectively... also has posted top times in the 100- and 200-yard breaststrokes (1:00.10 and 2:08.96) as well as the 200 IM (1:56.72) and the 200 backstroke (2:05.43).
Before Nazareth: a transfer to Nazareth from Division I Rider University, Rappold helped the Broncs capture the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference title in 2012… was a top 16 finisher in the MAAC in the 200 and 400 IM as well as the 200 breaststroke… swam scholastically at Niskayuna and reached the state meet as a freshman and helped team to sectional title in 2007… qualified for junior nationals in 200 breaststroke… older sister Erin swam for Nazareth for two seasons (2008-10) and holds three distance freestyle records.
