Biography
Art Education major. . . born 4/7/94... son of Dennis and Beth Green, Lakewood, N.Y… returning for his third season, Green continued to excel on the diving board for the Golden Flyers in 2013-14 as he finished third in the 1-meter competition with a school-record score of 494.15 at the UNYSCSA/Empire 8 Conference meet at Ithaca... also finished sixth in the 3-meter competition (398.60)... finished ninth and 13th respectively in the 1- and 3-meter competitions at the NCAA Regional meet at RIT.
2012-13: Green enjoyed a record-breaking season in 2012-13 as he set school records on both the 1- and 3-meter boards for 11 dives with scores of 466.75 and 410.35 respectively... represented Nazareth at the NCAA Division III Region 4 competition with a chance to advance to the national meet and finished sixth in the 1- meter and seventh in the 3-meter competition... recipient of the Golden Flyer Award as the team's Most Improved Swimmer/Diver.
: a graduate of Southwestern Central in Jamestown, Green competed there as a diver and as a pole vaulter… broke school records for 6 and 11 dives and was part of record breaking 200- and 400-yard freestyle relays… named Southwestern’s Outstanding Swimmer/Diver as a senior after placing fourth in the Section Six championships… as a member of the track and field team, Green won the Section Six D-II title and placed fifth at the state meet… twice named SWCS most valuable field athlete and was a first-team all-star in the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association… earned several academic awards, including the Lakewood High School Alumni Scholarship and a Nazareth Presidential Scholarship… a member of the National Honor Society.
