HERSHEY, Pa. – The Nazareth College men's golf team wrapped up the final round of the Empire 8 Championship on Sunday at the Hershey Country Club East Course, finishing in sixth place. As a team, Nazareth carded a 341 (+57) on Sunday to compile a four-round total of 1,366 (+22). The first two rounds were contested in the fall at Timber Banks Golf Course in Baldwinsville.
St. John Fisher secured the overall title, earning the conference bid to the NCAA Division III Golf Championships, after shooting a 307 (+23) on Sunday. The Cardinals finished the tournament at 1,222 (+78), followed by Moravian College at 1,260 (+116) and Stevens Institute 1,282 (+132). Scranton closely followed Stevens at 1,284 (+140) and Susquehanna compiled a 1,319 (+175). After Nazareth (+222) was Elmira at 1,416 (+278) and Utica at 1,468 (+330).
Scranton's Eric Montella was the tournament champion with a two day total of 146 (+4).
Nazareth junior
Kyle Bromley moved up from a tie from eighth place after Saturday's round, to a tie for sixth place with a 78 (+7) on Sunday. He finished with a two day total of 155 (+13). He did not compete in the fall portion of the E8 Tournament and was not eligible for post-season recognition.
Tom Mediak moved up as well, shooting an 87 (+16) on Sunday to compile a 173 (+31) and secure a tie for 25
th place.
Jonathan Gerken remained in a tie for 28
th place, finishing with a two day total of 174 (+32).
Caleb McGuire rounded out the scoring for Nazareth with his one stroke improvement of an 89 (+18). He launched a two day score of 179 (+37).

Sean de Herder (+41).
