Biography
Mathematics major... born 06/11/95... son of Scott and Gloria Gerken, Brockport, N.Y... returning for his fourth season, Gerken competed in five tournaments and 10 rounds overall in 2015-16... had a scoring average of 87.40... shot a season-best round of 80 in the first round of the Nazareth Fall Invitational.
2014-15: Gerken posted six rounds for the Golden Flyers and averaged 88.17 with a best round of 81 on the second day of the SUNY Delhi Invitational on 4/12/15.
2013-14: Gerken played eight rounds and had a scoring average of 85.88 with a low round of 82 in the spring at the Empire 8 Tournament.
Scholastic: a graduate of Hilton High School, Gerken was a member of the golf and bowling teams there... played four seasons of varsity golf and earned first-team Monroe County League all-star honors as a senior... earned second team honors as a sophomore and junior... competed in area Tournament of Champions three times... earned second-team all-league honors in bowling three times and helped team to Section Five title as a sophomore.
