Tyler Stenglein has been named the Empire 8 Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending December 19. 

Stenglein averaged 21 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in a 1-1 week for Nazareth.  He tallied 24 points (9-for-18), six boards and dished out three assists in an 88-76 defeat to Lycoming on Friday.  Stenglein came back out Saturday to deliver 18 points (7-for-18), seven rebounds and four assists in an 87-79 win over SUNY Potsdam.

Nazareth returns to action on January 4, when it hosts Hilbert College at 8 p.m.
