Nazareth College Athletics

Physical Therapy major……daughter of Sean and Kim Joyce, Syracuse, N.Y… returning for her fourth season, Joyce was a steady fixture for the Golden Flyers in 2017-18 as she compiled an overall singles record of 16-5 between the fourth and fifth singles slots... went 8-0 in Empire 8 Conference matches and was a second-team all-conference selection at singles... went 18-2 overall in doubles matches, including 8-0 in conference play, to gain first-team all-E8 honors there... was responsible for both Nazareth points in the Golden Flyers' 5-2 loss to Rhode Island College in their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance last spring, winning 6-3, 6-1 at fourth singles and Jackie Lisak to win 8-2 at second doubles... named to the Empire 8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 or better for the spring semester.

2016-17: Joyce finished 8-8 in singles, including going 6-2 in Empire 8 play... went 6-9 in doubles action at first doubles with Allison Friends ... earned honorable mention all-conference honors for both singles and doubles play ... also Nazareth's representative on the Empire 8 Sportswoman of the Year team. 

2015-16: Joyce compiled an overall record of 10-8 in singles, including a 6-2 record during Empire 8 Conference play… earned second-team all-conference in doubles after going a perfect 6-0 with partner Ami Petosa at second and third doubles... finished 11-9 overall in doubles.

Scholastic: a graduate of West Genesee High School, Joyce played five seasons of varsity tennis… served as team captain and earned first-team all-conference honors three times in the Central New York Cities League and also gained Section Three all-star honors three times... won Section Three and regional titles in 2014... competed in state tournament three times... recipient of the Nazareth College Presidential Scholarship… member of National Honor Society... played three years of varsity softball.
