Physical Therapy major... son of Dave and Pamela Basile, Cortland, N.Y... team captain... returning for his fourth season, Basile played in 16 games in 2018 and totaled 31 points on 16 goals, 15 assists... had five points (3g, 2a) at Utica on 4/21/18 and five (2g, 3a) at Hartwick on 4/28/18... scored three times at St. Lawrence on 3/31/18 and at home against Alfred on 4/14/18... also had 31 ground balls... an honorable mention selection to the Empire 8 Conference all-star team.

2017: Basile played in all 20 games as a sophomore, including making 15 starts at attack ... finished fifth on the team in goals (22) and points (35) ... third on the team in ground balls with 30... had 11 points on a career-high seven goals and four assists in a 21-11 win over Utica on 4/12/17 ... scored the game-winning goal in overtime of the Empire 8 Championship game to defeat Stevens, 11-10, on 5/6/17.

2016: Basile enjoyed a solid first season in 2016 as he appeared in 15 games and contributed 13 goals and three assists with 10 ground balls... had four points on three goals, one assist vs. St. John Fisher on 4/2/16... also scored twice each against Denison on 3/19/16 and vs. Houghton on 4/19/16.

Scholastic: a graduate of Homer High School, Basile was a standout lacrosse and football player there ... earned first-team all-Central New York honors as a junior in lacrosse, along with Onondaga League all-star honors in 2014 and 2015... helped team to league titles in 2014 and 2015... a two-time all-state honoree in football... also earned first-team all-CNY and first-team all-league... parents Dave and Pam are Nazareth alums... Dave played on the Golden Flyers' first lacrosse team in 1986 and later served as an assistant coach.
