Public Health major… born 6/4/96… daughter of Joe and Lisa DeVona, Minoa, N.Y... team captain... returning for her fourth season, DeVona is the Golden Flyers' top returning scorer after playing in 16 games in 2017 and delivering 56 points, including a team-best 45 goals... earned second-team Empire Region all-star honors as well as second-team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors... scored a goal in every game she played in '17... had a career-best eight points (5g, 3a) in a 19-7 romp over Houghton on 4/18/17... also scored five times each in wins over Western New England (3/16/17) and at Utica (4/26/17)... scored three goals, including the game-winner in overtime of an 11-10 victory over St. John Fisher on 4/12/17... also scored the tying goal with 4:47 left in regulation... had 13 ground balls and seven caused turnovers.

2016: DeVona started all 17 games as a sophomore notching team highs in goals (47) and points (57), while also contributing 10 assists … picked up 17 ground balls, 21 draw controls and six caused turnovers … recorded at least one point in all but one game during the season … had seven points on five goals and two assists against RIT on 3/15/16 … totaled three game-winning goals on the season …  repeated as a first team Empire 8 Conference all-star… also earned second-team Empire Region all-star honors from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association.
 
2015: DeVona made an immediate impact as a freshman in 2015 ... started in all 16 games and led the team in scoring with 55 points, contributing 37 goals and 18 assists ... picked up 19 ground balls, had seven caused turnovers and 22 draw controls ... scored her first collegiate goal in a close victory against William Smith on 3/7/15 ... notched seven points off of five goals and two assists against Elmira on 4/4/15... totaled six game-winning goals ... named Empire 8 Conference Rookie of the Year and a first-team E8 all-star... named Empire 8 Player of the Week for the week of 3/9/15 ... selected as second-team Empire Region All-Star.

Scholastic: a graduate of East Syracuse-Minoa, DeVona played four seasons of varsity lacrosse and earned all-league honors in the Onondaga League's Freedom Conference three times, including first-team recognition in 2014... was a two-time team MVP and named Most Improved Player in 2012... DeVona also played two seasons of varsity soccer and received honorable mention honors in 2014… was a captain of her lacrosse and soccer teams… recipient of the Clinton and Lillian Dodd Seafrid Memorial Scholarship.
