Nazareth College Athletics

Biology major... born 1/2/94... son of Jean Vuolo, East Islip, N.Y... returning for his third season, Vuolo performed well during the 2015 indoor season with a school record of 14.12 meters (46 feet, 4 inches) in the shot put and a personal best of 14.31 meters (46 feet, 11 1/2 inches) in the 35-pound weight throw)... placed third in both events at the Empire 8 Conference meet at Houghton on 2/14/15.

2014: placed third in the shot put at the Empire 8 Conference meet during the outdoor season with a heave of 13.21 meters (43 feet, 4 1/4 inches)... broke his own school record in that event later in the spring with a distance of 13.52 meters (44 feet, 4 1/4 inches)... also had personal outdoor bests in the discus (38.83 meters or 127 feet, 5 inches) and the hammer throw (44.65 meters or 146 feet, 6 inches)... performed well during the 2014 indoor season with a personal best in the 35-pound weight throw at 13.12 meters (43 feet, 0 1/2 inches) and a school record in the shot put at 13.68 meters (44 feet, 10 3/4 inches) for a seventh-place finish at the NYSCTC meet at St. Lawrence.

2013: Vuolo performed well for the Golden Flyers in 2013 by reaching 13.16 meters (43 feet, 2 1/4 inches) indoors in the shot put and outdoor bests in both the shot put (12.69 meters or 41 feet, 7 1/2 inches) and discus (36.71 meters or 120 feet, 5 1/4 inches)... named Field Athlete of the Meet after winning the discus competition (36.08 meters or 118 feet, 4 1/2 inches) at the Empire 8 Conference Meet at Nazareth on 4/20/13.

Scholastic: a graduate of East Islip High School, Vuolo competed in cross country, track and hockey there.
