Nazareth College Athletics

Physical Therapy major… born 1/24/95... daughter of Harry and Susan Papponetti, Albion, N.Y… returning for her fourth season, Papponetti started 28 games as a junior, mostly at second base, and batted .228 … registered 21 hits with three doubles, two triples and two home runs … contributed 15 RBI … notched a career-high three hits (3-for-4) against Kenyon on 3/7/16.  

2015: Papponetti started 32 games as a sophomore... finished with a .125 batting average (7-for-56) with three RBI... registered two hits against Swarthmore on 3/13/15.

2014: Papponetti played in 13 games for the Golden Flyers in 2014 and had five hits in 35 at bats for a .143 batting average... had a run batted in against St. John Fisher on 4/11/14 and scored a run against RIT on 5/3/14.

Scholastic: a graduate of Albion High School, Papponetti competed in soccer, basketball and softball there... played four seasons of varsity softball and helped team to the 2012 Section Six championship as well as three straight league titles… recognized with third-team all-state and first-team all-Western New York accolades as a shortstop in addition to first-team Niagara-Orleans all-league honors in 2013… also an all-league performer in soccer and basketball as well a scholar-athlete award winner... recipient of President’s Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence, the U.S. Marine Corps Scholastic Excellence Award and a member of National Honor Society.
