Nazareth College Athletics

Physical Therapy major... born 4/14/93... daughter of Richard and Cindy Runyon, Norwich, N.Y... team captain... returning for her fourth season, Runyon played in all 25 games for the Golden Flyers in 2013-14, including 23 as a starter... averaged 6.8 points and 4.9 rebounds per game and made 22 three-point baskets... also was the team's best foul shooter, sinking 43 of 51 shots (84.3 percent)... reached double digits in points five times, including a career-high of 16 points against Elmira on 1/3/14... had a career-high 11 rebounds against Utica on 1/17/14.

2012-13: played in all 25 games, including 17 as a starter... averaged 5.9 points and 2.6 rebounds per game and made 24 three-point baskets... also shot 85.3 percent (29-for-34) from the free-throw line... scored a season-high 14 points against Pitt-Bradford on 12/30/12.

2011-12: appeared in 20 of Nazareth’s 25 games, including one as a starter… scored a season-high nine points against Ithaca (1/7/12) and had seven points against John Jay (12/20/11)… also had 25 rebounds, 13 assists, and four steals.

Scholastic: a graduate of Norwich High School, Runyon played three seasons of varsity basketball there... earned fourth-team all-state honors in Class A and was named Section Four Class A Player of the Year... honored as Norwich Female Athlete of the Year for 2011... was a two-time Southern Tier Athletic Conference all-star for 2010 and 2011... led STAC in scoring as a senior at 17.3 points per game... led team to divisional title in 2011... played for Southern Tier Flyers AAU National team for Coach Mike Huggler... recipient of 2011 Student Community Service Award... member of National Honor Society and served as senior class Vice President... member of Student Government and Student Athletic Council.
