Nazareth College Athletics

Nursing major... born 03/04/95... daughter of James and Marcia Masters, Lockport, N.Y... returning for her fourth season, Masters competed regularly in 2015-16 and placed ninth in the 1,650 freestyle (18:08.58) at the UNYS/Empire 8 Conference meet at Ithaca... also finished 15th in the 500 free (5:18.55) and posted a time of 2:00.55 in the 200 free.

2014-15: Masters excelled for the Golden Flyers in the distance freestyle events in 2014-15... finished 10th in the 1,650 freestyle (18:09.73), 15th in the 500 freestyle (5:16.21) and 16th in the 200 freestyle (1:59.49) at the UNYSCSA/Empire 8 Conference meet at Webster Aquatic Center.

2013-14: Masters swam regularly for the Golden Flyers in 2013-14 and placed 14th in the 500 freestyle (5:17.66) and 15th in the 1,650 freestyle (18:19.20) at the UNYS/E8 Conference meet in Ithaca... also swam on the 800 free relay tream that finished fifth in 7:54.77.

Scholastic: a graduate of Newfane Senior High School, Masters competed in swimming, field hockey and lacrosse there... earned first team all-conference honors as middle distance freestyler in the Niagara-Orleans League... helped team to five straight league titles... recipient of several academic awards, including Wally Sidebottom Memorial Scholarship, Corwin Musician Scholarship and Emedco Scholarship.
