Nazareth College Athletics

Psychology and Religious Studies major with concentration in early childhood education... born 09/03/95... daughter of David and Mona Carro, Canandaigua, N.Y... returning for her fourth season, Carro represented the Golden Flyers at the UNYS/Empire 8 Conference meet at Ithaca and placed 20th in the 200 backstroke (2:16.71), 23rd in the 400 IM (5:02.48) and 24th in the 200 butterfly (2:24.46)... earned the team's Academic Award (for having the highest GPA) for the second year in a row.

2014-15: Carro displayed her versatility for the Golden Flyers in 2014-15 as she posted personal best times by finishing 15th in the 400 IM (4:55.55), 19th in the 200 butterfly (2:17.14) and 19th in the 200 backstroke (2:15.28) at the UNYS/Empire 8 Conference meet at Webster Aquatic Center... recipient of team's Academic Award for having the highest GPA.

2013-14: Carro swam regularly for the Golden Flyers in 2013-14... placed 17th in the 200 butterfly (2:18.85), 22nd in the 200 backstroke (2:16.69) and 25th in the 400 IM (5:02.39) at the conference championship meet.

Scholastic: a graduate of Canandaigua Academy, Carro competed on the varsity swim team there for four seasons... earned scholar-athlete honors all four seasons and was named Academic All-American in 2013 by the National Interscholastic SwimCoaches Association... helped team to four straight Section Five Class B titles... member of National Honor Society.
