Sociology major... daughter of Michael and Ronny Hess, Victor, N.Y... returning for her fourth season, Hess repeated as UNYS/Empire 8 Conference champion in the 1,650 freestyle in 2015-16 with a winning time of 17:18.09... also broke her own school record with a third-place finish in the 500 freestyle (5:04.01)... finished 15th in the 200 free (1:57.74) and swam in the 200, 400 and 800 free relays that finished 10th, 12th and eighth respectively... recipient of team High Point Award as team MVP for second year in a row.

2014-15: Hess was the Golden Flyers' top performer in 2014-15 as she qualified for the NCAA Division III meet and finished 21st in the 1,650-yard freestyle... recipient of the Golden Flyers' High Point Award as team MVP after setting three school records and winning the UNYSCSA and Empire 8 Conference title in the 1,650 free (17:07.91)... also finished third in the 500 freestyle with a school-record time of 5:04.35... placed eighth in the 200 freestyle (1:56.85)... set school record in the 1,000 freestyle (10:21.38).

2013-14: Hess enjoyed a strong freshman season for the Golden Flyers as she won the UNYS/E8 title in the 1,650-yard freestyle and finished third in the 500 freestyle... set school records in the 1,000- and 1,650-yard freestyles with times of 10:29.22 and 17:22.65 respectively... also finished 12th in the 200 freestyle.

Scholastic: a graduate of Victor High School, Hess was a member of the varsity swim team for five seasons... excelled in the 200- and 500-yard freestyles... won Section Five Class B title in the 500 and helped 400 free relay team to a 12th-place finish at the state meet in 2012... a four-time Monroe County League all-star and all-Greater Rochester selection in 2012 by the Democrat and Chronicle.
