Social Work and English major… born 08/30/93… daughter of Don and Peg Allocco, Ballston Lake, N.Y… back for her fourth season, Allocco added to her Golden Flyer legacy in 2013 as she appeared in all 38 matches and 134 sets overall… earned third-team All-American honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association as well as first-team all-New York Region and first-team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors… ranked 10th nationally with a .387 hitting percentage (316-72-631)… also led the team in blocks with 81 (0.60 per set), ranked second in kills with 316 and third in service aces with 51… hit .550 (13-2-20) in a four-set win over Stevens in the E8 title match and was named tournament MVP for the third year in a row… posted double-digit kill totals 14 times… had a season-high of 15 kills in consecutive matches against Cortland and Union on 9/14/13… named to all-tournament teams at Cortland and Nazareth… twice named E8 Player of the Week (for 10/28/13 and 11/11/13)… a versatile athlete, Allocco has played for the Golden Flyers’ basketball team the past three winters.

2012: appeared in all 37 matches in 2012 and 144 sets overall… earned honorable mention All-American honors and first-team all-New York Region honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association after posting a team-best 339 kills with 43 service aces and 100 blocks… also recognized as a first-team Empire 8 Conference all-star… led the Empire 8 and ranked ninth nationally with a .376 hitting percentage… had double digit kills totals in 15 matches… named MVP of the E8 Conference Tournament after hitting .595 (27-2-42) with 10 blocks in wins over Elmira and Stevens… hit .682 (15-0-22) in an early-season five-set win over Clarkson… had a career-best nine blocks in a four-set loss at Clarkson in the NCAA Tournament on 11/9/12… named to all-tournament team for the RIT and Golden Flyer Invitationals… named E8 Player of the Week for 9/17/12.

2011: enjoyed a spectacular first season for the Golden Flyers as she was named Empire 8 Conference Rookie of the Year as well as New York Region Freshman of the Year by the American Volleyball Coaches Association… played in 37 matches and led the Golden Flyers in kills with 268 (2.09 per set) to go with a .306 hitting percentage… also had 50 service aces, 75 digs and 83 blocks… named MVP of Empire 8 Conference Tournament and E8 Player of the Week after producing 33 kills in two matches, including a career-high of 18 against Elmira in the title match… had a career-best seven service aces in a three-set win over Brockport on 9/16/11… named to the all-tournament team for the Nazareth Invitational and named E8 Rookie of the Week four times (9/6, 9/12, 10/24 and 10/31).

Scholastic: a graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School, Allocco excelled in volleyball and basketball there… twice earned first-team all-state honors in volleyball and was MVP of the Suburban Council as a senior in 2010… chosen to the Section Two Class A all-tournament team in 2008 and 2010 and was the recipient of the New York State Sportsmanship Award in '10… helped team to four straight sectional and regional titles and helped team reach the state finals in '07 and '10… made Section Two all-tournament team in basketball in 2010… recipient of Capital Regional Basketball Scholar-Athlete award.
