Nazareth College Athletics

Art Education major. . . born 4/7/94... son of Dennis and Beth Green, Lakewood, N.Y… returning for his second season, Green competed for the Golden Flyers' outdoor team in 2013 and set a school record in the pole vault by clearing 3.80 meters (12 feet, 5 1/2 inches) at Nazareth on 4/6/13... excelled for the Golden Flyers as a diver for the past two winters for the Golden Flyers swimming and diving team and set school records in both the 1- and 3-meter competitions... set a school record in 1-meter diving with a third-place finish at the Empire 8 Conference meet with ascore of 494.15

Scholastic: a graduate of Southwestern Central in Jamestown, Green competed there as a diver and as a pole vaulter… holds school records for 6 and 11 dives and was part of record breaking 200- and 400-yard freestyle relays… named Southwestern’s Outstanding Swimmer/Diver as a senior after placing fourth in the Section Six championships… as a member of the track and field team, Green won the Section Six D-II title and placed fifth at the state meet… twice named SWCS most valuable field athlete and was a first-team all-star in the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association… earned several academic awards, including the Lakewood High School Alumni Scholarship and a Nazareth Presidential Scholarship… a member of the National Honor Society.
