Business Administration and Finance major… born 9/4/91… son of Russ and Elizabeth de Herder, Mt. Pleasant, S.C… returning for his fourth golf season, de Herder competed in six tournaments and 12 rounds overall in 2014-15 and had a stroke average of 86.17... had a career-low score of 76 in the second round of the Nazareth Fall Invitational at Irondequoit CC on 10/12/14.
2013-14: returning for his third golf season, de Herder had a stroke average of 90.00 for nine rounds... had a low round of 80 in the first round of the Empire 8 Spring Invitational.
2012-13: played golf for the Golden Flyers last spring and averaged 95.33 for nine rounds... had a low round of 87 at the Empire 8 Tournament... played for the Golden Flyers' hockey team the last two winters and contributed two goals and three assists in 26 games.
Scholastic: a 2011 graduate of Choate Rosemary Hall in Connecticut, de Herder played four seasons of hockey there… also competed in lacrosse, golf and crew… played for the Golden Flyers' hockey team in 2012-13 and contributed two goals and two assists… recipient of Presidential Academic Scholarship.
