Community Youth Development major... born 8/5/94... daughter of Tracy and Patricia Pike, Perry, N.Y... returning for her fourth season, Pike started all 34 games as a junior... finished the season with a .290 batting average (29-for-100) with 13 RBI - the third-best mark on the team... notched seven extra-base hits, including one home run... went 3-for-3 against Alfred State on 4/23/15... tallied 44 putouts and 77 assists.
2014: Pike was Nazareth's starting third baseman in 29 or 30 games in 2014 and batted .286 with a team-high four home runs and 18 runs batted in... also hit five doubles and led the team with 16 runs scored... was an honorable mention selection to the Empire 8 Conference all-star team... had seven multi-hit games, including three hits against Mount St. Mary's on 3/10/14... had four hits, including a home run, and six runs batted in in a doubleheader sweep of Houghton on 4/12/14... hit a game-winning walk-off home run to beat Utica, 2-1, in the second game of a doubleheader on 4/21/14... also hit home runs against Alfred on 4/19/14 and against RIT on 5/3/14.
2013: made a significant impact for Nazareth during her freshman season… earned first-team Empire 8 all-star honors as she started all 31 games… ranked second on the team a .308 batting average and led the pitching staff with four wins and a 5.09 ERA… at the plate, Pike had 28 hits in 91 at-bats with 13 runs scored and 18 RBIs… finished the season with 10 multiple-hit games, including a three-hit game against Kenyon (3/12/13) and Houghton (4/28/13)… Pike also had home runs against Bethany Lutheran (3/10/13) and Alfred (3/30/13)… defensively, she tallied a .922 fielding percentage with 59 putouts, 48 assists, and nine errors… on the mound, Pike had a team-high 30 strikeouts and allowed 86 runs on 110 hits in 78.1 innings pitched.
Scholastic: a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Batavia, Pike excelled in volleyball, basketball and softball there... named Class D State Player of the Year after powering softball team to state title in 2012... had a 19-6 record with 186 strikeouts in 172 innings pitched... also batted .430 with 31 runs batted in... a two-time first-team All-Greater Rochester selection by the
Democrat and Chronicle, a two-time first-team all-state pick and a three-time Genesee Region all-star... four-year scholar-athlete award winner and a member of the National Honor Society.
