Nursing major... born 1/31/91... daughter of Timothy and Amy Johnston, Farmington, N.Y... back for her fourth season with the Golden Flyers, Johnston continued to be a prolific scorer for Nazareth in 2012 as she led the team for the second year in a row with 51 points on a team-best 40 goals and 11 assists... earned second-team Empire Region all-star honors and first-team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors... equaled a career-best with eight points (6 goals, 2 assists) in a 19-13 loss to Drew on 3/15/12... scored a career-best six goals in a 15-14 loss to RIT on 4/10/12... also had six points (4 goals, 2 assists) in a home-field win over Elmira on 4/14/12 and five goals in a win at Rochester on 3/21/12... also led the team in ground balls (36) and draw controls (52) and second in caused turnovers (19)... had a streak of at least one goal in 34 straight games snapped in a loss to St. John Fisher on 4/28/12...

2011: Johnston was the Golden Flyers' leading scorer with 59 points on a team-best 42 goals and 17 assists... earned first-team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors and second-team Empire Region all-star honors... scored at least one goal in all 16 games in 2011... had a season-best seven points on four goals, three assists vs. Birmingham-Southern on 3/15/11... scored five goals each in wins over Sewanee on 3/17/11 and vs. RIT on 3/29/11... had four goals each in wins over Alfred on 4/9/11 and Utica on 4/10/11... named Empire 8 Player of the Week for 3/21/11... also ranked second on the team in ground balls (33), draw controls (31) and caused turnovers (23)...

Scholastic: a graduate of Canandaigua Academy, Johnston played four seasons of varsity lacrosse there. . . earned second-team Finger Lakes League all-star honors after helping team to league and Section Five titles in 2009. . . also competed in soccer and indoor track.
