Biology and Philosophy major... born 10/10/90... daughter of Joseph and Colleen Shaw, Livonia, N.Y... team captain… returning for her fourth season, Shaw appeared in all 25 of Nazareth’s games during the 2011-12 season, including two as a starter… Shaw averaged 6.2 points per game and finished in double figures in scoring in eight games… tallied a career-best 16 points against Alfred (1/13/12)… Shaw ranked second on the team in free throw accuracy as she connected on a team-high 48 shots from the line (48-66, .727)… showed her range beyond the arc with 18 three-pointers, including four of five three-point attempts against John Jay (12/30/11) … also tallied 60 rebounds, 36 assists, and 14 steals…

2010-11: Shaw played in 22 games and contributed 3.1 points and 2.5 rebounds per game... went 13 for 15 (.867) from the free-throw line... scored a season-high of 10 points vs. John Jay on 11/20/10... twice grabbed seven rebounds in a game -- vs. Middlebury on 11/19/10 and vs. Penn State Behrend on 12/31/10...

2009-10: played in 22 games... scored 23 points and grabbed 17 rebounds... scored a season-best eight points at Hilbert 11/15/09...

Scholastic: a 2008 graduate of Livonia High School, Shaw didn't play in 2008-09 while recovering from a knee injury... played four seasons of basketball in high school... named to the Section Five all-tournament team in 2006-07 and 2007-08 in addition to being a Livingston County all-star and a member of the Livingston County Super 18 Team... earned all-Greater Rochester honorable mention honors, and was a News 10-NBC Scholar Athlete of the Week... also a member of the softball team and was named team captain, an exceptional senior, and a Birds Eye Player of the Week during the basketball and softball seasons... earned numerous academic awards, including Presidential Scholarship for Academic Excellence and Regents Scholarship... member of Student Council and National Honor Society and valedictorian for the Class of 2008.
