Biography

Business Administration and Economics major... born 03/22/91...daughter of Doug and Nancy Wyant, Jasper, N.Y... returning for her third track and field season, Wyant ran a limited indoor schedule while recovering from a leg injury... finished eighth in the 500-meter dash (1:29.16) at the RIT Organe/Brown Invitational on 2/15/13.

2012: posted personal best times in the 400- and 500-meter dashes with 1:01.81 and 1:19.95 respectively… was the Empire 8 Conference champion in the 400… during the outdoor season, Wyant earned first-team all-conference honors as a member of Nazareth’s 1,600-meter relay team... also placed fourth in the 400-meter dash (1:01.67) at the E8 outdoor meet and seventh in the same event (1:01.53) at the NYSCTC meet... also a member of the women's soccer team, Wyant missed the 2012 season while recovering from an injury.

2011: played in 12 soccer matches in with one start and scored two goals… scored in a 2-0 win at Utica on 10/09/11 and in a 3-1 win over Ithaca in the E8 Tournament on 11/05/11… as a member of the track and field team, Wyant was the Empire 8 Conference Rookie of the Year for the indoor season in 2011 after finishing third in the 400-meter dash (:64.73)... also placed third in that event (:62.50) at the NYSCTC meet... earned second-team all-conference honors in the 400-meter dash during the outdoor season after posting a second-place time of :62.97... finished second in that event at the NYSCTC Outdoor Meet with a personal-best time of :60.54. 2010: played well for the Golden Flyers' soccer team in after missing all of the '09 season due to injury...played in 19 games, including nine as a starter...finished fourth on the team in scoring with three goals and one assist...scored the game-winning goal against Hartwick (10/16/10) and also scored against Alfred (9/15/10) and Elmira (9/25/10).

Scholastic: a graduate of Jasper-Troupsburg High School, Wyant was a three-sport standout there, competing in soccer and basketball for five seasons each and track and field for six...a five-time Steuben County League all-star in soccer. . . received Class DD first-team all-State, Steuben County Birdseye Player of the Year honors, and Player of the Year honors from the Corning Leader as a junior and a senior. . . as a basketball player, Wyant earned Class DD second-team all-state honors in 2008 and 2009 and fifth-team honors in 2007. . . was the Steuben County League MVP and earned Birdseye Athlete of the Week honors in 2007, 2008, and 2009. . . as a member of the track and field team, Wyant competed mostly in the 400- and 800-meter runs and set six school records. . . was a four-time Steuben County all-star, a member of the Corning Leader all-star team in 2007 and 2008, and received Athlete of the Meet honors at the Hornell Invitational and Outstanding Performer honors at the Josh Reed Invitational. . . member of National Honor Society and class president for two years. . . named valedictorian for the Class of 2009.
