Business Administration major... born 09/23/93... daughter of Mark and Lauri Gildemeyer, Syracuse, N.Y... returning for her fourth season of track and field, Gildemeyer enjoyed a strong 2015 indoor season as she broke school records in the 800- and 1,000-meter runs with times of 2:15.05 (at St. Lawrence on 3/6/15) and 3:06.75 (at Ithaca on 2/7/15) respectively... won the 800-meter run at both the Empire 8 Conference meet at Houghton on 2/14/15 and at the NYSCTC meet at RIT on 2/28/15... also part of school records in the 4 x 400-meter relay (4:00.84) and the distance medley relay (12:38.11).
2014: Gildemeyer enjoyed a record-breaking outdoor season as she set school records outdoors in both the 800- and 1,500-meter runs with times of 2:13.70 and 4:47.40 respectively… won NYSCTC and Empire 8 titles in the 800 both indoors and outdoors… helped Nazareth to a first-place finish in the 4 x 400-meter relay at the E8 Outdoor meet with a time of 4:07.01… also ran 1:19.57 in the 500-meter dash indoors... completed her fourth season of cross country for the Golden Flyers in the fall and posted a personal-best time of 24:15.5 for 6 kilometers at the NCAA Atlantic Regional race at Genesee Valley Park on 11/15/14... also finished 20th at the Empire 8 Conference meet with a three-mile time of 19:10.7.
2013 cross country: posted a time of 24:23.0 for 6 kilometers at the 2013 NCAA Atlantic Regional race at Letchworth State Park… also finished 35th at the Empire 8 Conference meet at Saratoga with a time of 19:41.6 for 5 kilometers.
2013 track and field: specializing in the 800-meter run, Gildemeyer’s top time of 2:17.22 was good for a third-place finish at the NYSCTC Outdoor Championships at St. Lawrence on 5/3/13... ran 2:23.83 indoors for fifth place in the NYSCTC meet at Ithaca on 2/22/13... part of school records in the 4 x 800-meter relay both indoors and outdoors... clocked in 9:39.39 indoors at the ECAC meet at the NYC Armory on 3/2/13... ran 9:37.73 outdoors at the NYSCTC meet at St. Lawrence on 5/3/13... earned first-team all-conference honors for the 4 x 800-meter relay both indoors and outdoors... also earned second-team honors in the 800-meter run outdoors in 2013.
2012 cross country: ran in six meets and placed 82nd (26:02) at the NYSCTC 6-kilometer meet in Fairport, and she finished 41st at the 3.04-mile Empire 8 meet at Saratoga.
2012 track and field: finished sixth (2:30.17) in the 800 at the E8 Indoor meet and fourth in the same event at the NYSCTC Indoor meet (2:23.60)… placed third in the 800 (2:25.02) at the E8 Outdoor meet and helped Nazareth win the 4 x 400-meter relay (4:11.90)… finished 12th in the 800 (2:25.37) at the NYSCTC meet.
2011 cross country: finished 28th at the Empire 8 Conference meet at Saratoga with a time of 20:55 over 3 miles… finished 161st in a 6,000-meter course (25:50) in Canton at the NCAA Atlantic Regional meet.
Scholastic: a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse, Gildemeyer competed in cross country, track and soccer there… served as team captain in track and cross country... won Section Three individual titles in the 400-meter dash (outdoor) in 2011 and in the 4 x 800-meter relay (indoor) in 2010... helped team to four sectional titles (two indoor and two outdoor)... member of the Peer Ministry Club for two years.
