Nazareth College Athletics

Communication & Media and English major... daughter of Omar and Tanya Santos, Gardiner, N.Y... returning for her fourth season, Santos helped carry Nazareth to its third straight Empire 8 Conference title in 2019-20 as she reached the finals in four events at the Allegheny Empire Conference meet at Webster Aquatic Center... placed second in the 100 butterfly (:58.80) and fourth in the 200 butterfly (2:12.99)... also swam fifth in the 200 IM (2:14.73) and was part of the runner-up 400 medley relay (3:57.07)... competed in the 200 medley and 400 free relays that each placed 11th.

2018-19: Santos swam well for the Golden Flyers at the Empire 8 Conference meet and was part of the 200 medley relay team that finished first in 1:48.66... also finished third in the 400 medley relay (3:58.98), fourth in the 100 butterfly (1:00.04), seventh in the 200 butterfly (2:19.86) and eighth in the 200 IM (2:19.22).

2017-18: Santos swam well in 2017-18 as the team's top butterfly specialist... finished second at the Empire 8 Conference meet in the 100 fly (:58.87) and fourth in the 200 fly (2:15.02)... also seventh in the 200 IM (2:17.08)... helped Nazareth place in four relays, including the victorious 200 medley relay that was clocked in 1:49.26... swam on the 200 free relay (second, 1:38.57), the 400 medley relay (second, 359.36) and the 400 free relay (third, 3:40.12)... competed as a thrower for the Golden Flyers' track and field team.

Scholastic: a graduate of New Paltz High School, Santos excelled in swimming and track and field there... served as team captain of both teams and qualified for the state meet three times in the 100 butterfly, 200 free relay and 200 medley relay... also competed in the state meet for indoor and outdoor track and field and was a Section Nine titlist in the shot put and discus as a junior and senior... also won Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association title in the shot put and weight throw... recipient of Larry Johnson Award for sportsmanship and success in multiple sports... and won United Teachers Scholarship... competed for Hawks Swimming Association club team.
