Nursing major. . . daughter of Michael and Ellen Danis, Latham, N.Y. . . returning for her fourth season, Danis finished the season with 80.5 points. . . recorded top times in the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.57), 500-yard freestyle (5:21.06), and 200-yard butterfly (2:18.91). . . 2007-08: Danis continued to swim well for the Golden Flyers in 2007-08 as she accumulated 179 points to rank sixth on the team. . . top performances included 2:00.57 in the 200-yard freestyle, 5:21.06 in the 500-yard freestyle and 2:24.67 in the 200-yard butterfly. . . placecd fifth in the 200 freestyle at the Empire 8 Conference meet. . .  2006-07: Danis recorded 102. 50 points as a freshman. . . top performances include: 2:03.67 in the 200-yard free and 5:30.25 in the 500-yard free. . . Scholastic: a graduate of Shaker High School, Danis was a member of the swim team for four seasons. . . member of the Adirondack Zone Empire State Games team for two years. . . was a sectional finalist four consecutive years. . . recipient of scholar athlete award, Student Government leadership award, and a member of National Honor Society.
