Box l Updated Stats
Rochester – Nazareth dug out of a 1-0 hole Tuesday night, scoring the next four goals of the game to down Pitt-Bradford 4-1 in the Golden Flyers lone home game under the lights for the 2017 regular season.  Senior Mitchell Fors netted two goals in the game to secure his team-leading third and fourth tallies of the season.

With the win, Nazareth improves to 5-3-1, while Pitt Bradford drops to 2-7-1.

The visitors opened the half strong, hitting the crossbar in the 15th minute.  That pressure kept up and Steven McFetridge found the back of the net on a shot from 25-yards out to the back post.

Nazareth, however, settled in and ramped up the offensive pressure, along with possession following the goal.  Fors beat a few defenders in the 29th minute and slotted in an opportunity to even the score at 1-1.

The Golden Flyers, which had four corner kick opportunities in the opening half, connected in the 34th minute as Serkan Ozay headed in his first collegiate goal off an assist from Josh Crespo.

Nazareth kept up the effort, pressing all the way until the end of the half and was rewarded with a goal as time expired to make it 3-1 at the break.

Francesco Viavattene crossed a driven ball that Zach Titus put away for his first career goal.

Fors netted his second of the day early in the second half off Dan Serpe's team-leading third assist of the year.

Brian Wilkin played 80:15 in net, making one save, while allowing one goal.  Josh McNutt closed out the contest.

The Golden Flyers ended the game with a commanding 42-4 advantage in shots.

Nazareth returns to action on Saturday, traveling to Utica for a 12 p.m. contest.
