ONEONTA, NY – The 2017 Outdoor Track and Field season concluded Thursday, as four Nazareth athletes competed at the Last Chance Meet, hosted by Oneonta State.

On the men's side, Nick LaBarbera (400-meter) and Matt Battaglia (800-meter) each ran personal-best times for the year.  LaBarbera placed second in the 400 in a time of 48.83, .3 seconds faster than his previous-best time ran at the Empire 8 Outdoor Track and Field Championships.  Battaglia took seventh place in a time of 1:56.50.

For the women, Samantha Goble ran to a third place finish in the 800 (2:19.77), while Alycia Atwell-Chwazik was seventh in the long jump with a mark of 5.19 meters (17 feet, ½ inch).
