OSWEGO, N.Y. -- Nazareth's men's golf team closed out its 2016-17 season Sunday with a seventh-place finish at the Oswego Invitational at Oswego Country Club.
The Golden Flyers improved by 12 strokes from Saturday's first round, but still ended up seventh with a two-day stroke total of 662. St. John Fisher won the invitational with a score of 628, one stroke better than Hamilton and two better than Oswego.
Freshman
Ian Brotherton was Nazareth's top finisher by shooting 75 Sunday for a two-day total of 162 for a tie for 12th place. Senior
Kyle Bromley shot 79 Sunday for a two-day score of 163 for a tie for 18th place.
Other players for Nazareth were sophomore
Dominic Cicchetti, who tied for 33rd place with 84 Sunday for a total of 169; freshman
Jordan Holley with 87 for a 173 total and a tie for 35th place; senior
Jonathan Gerken with a 82 for a 173 total and a tie for 35th place; and sophomore
David Powlowski with 93 for a total of 184 and 47th place.
