Zachary Gillard knocked down 11 kills and junior setter
Jake Kemp totaled 30 assists Friday as Nazareth dominated Arcadia in a non-conference men's volleyball match with a three-set victory. Scores were 25-21, 25-21, 25-19.
Ranked 15th nationally by the ACVA, Nazareth upped its record to 10-6. Arcadia is 5-7. Nazareth plays St. Joseph's (L.I.) and New Jersey City U. Saturday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. respectively.
Tom Keisling added nine kills and three service aces and
Robert Sarneckis had six kills in seven attempts.
Ethan Ross had five kills.
Nazareth used a .464 hitting percentage (17-4-28) to dominate the opening set as Gillard, Keisling and Sarneckis each had four kills. Gillard added four more kills in the second set and Keisling had three service aces. Then Gillard and Keisling each had three kills in the third.
Nazareth hit .282 (34-12-78) as a team) and had nine service aces and three blocks.
