ROCHESTER, NY – Visiting Geneseo scored the lone goal of the game in the 57
th minute to edge Nazareth 1-0 Tuesday evening at Golden Flyer Stadium.
Nazareth drops to 3-5-1 with the loss, while Geneseo improves to 5-3-1 overall.
The visitors got on the board when Josh McIntosh got to the endline, centering a cross back to the penalty spot, where Caleb Murthy was parked for a one-time into the far post.
Hari Vidadala had a good chance in the 85
th minute to equalize as he ripped a shot from the 18-yard box that sailed wide of the net.
In the first half, the Knights managed five corner kicks compared to none for Nazareth, however, neither squad could break through.
Nazareth's best opportunity of the half came as
