ITHACA, NY – The Nazareth women's golf squad completed its 2015-16 season over the weekend at the Ithaca Invitational held at the Country Club of Ithaca. The Golden Flyers finished in sixth place, improving 29 strokes on day two. Nazareth shot a 536 on day one and a 507 on day two.
SUNY Cortland was the top overall finisher carding a 685 (+109), followed by Ithaca 691 (+115) and Le Moyne (723 (+147). St. John Fisher took fourth place with an 804 (+228), ahead of Elmira's 841 (+265) and finally Nazareth at 1043 (+467).
Kayla Page shot two steady rounds with a 117 on Saturday and a 116 on Sunday for a +89 and a 31
st place finish.
Lacey Rezucha was the next finisher for Nazareth, notching a 255 (+111) for 33
rd place.
The biggest stroke improvement came from
Hannah Darr, who improved 18 strokes on day two to finish with a (+118), good for 34
th place. The final finisher for Nazareth was
Julia Barrett who recorded a two-day total of 293 (+149).
