MORRISVILLE, N.Y. -- Host Morrisville scored the game's only goal just 3:53 into overtime Wednesday, enabling the Mustangs to take a 1-0 victory over Nazareth in non-conference field hockey action.

Morrisville improved to 4-13, while Nazareth slipped to 3-15. The Golden Flyers, under the direction of first-year coach Tarah Christenson, close out their season Saturday with an Empire 8 Conference game at Houghton at 4 p.m.

The Mustangs mustered the only three shots of overtime, including one by Emily Hunt, who deflected a pass from Allyson Flurer past Nazareth goalie Kimber Nourse for the game's one tally.

Morrisville finished with 20 shots overall to 14 for Nazareth. Each team generated eight penalty corners. Four of Nazareth's shots were on goal -- two by Leah Good and one each for Jennifer Hilts and Emily Prescott.

Nourse finished with nine saves to extended her single-season school record total to 259.
