Men's Golf Takes 14th place At ECAC Mid-Atlantic Championship

VICTOR, NY – The Nazareth men's golf team improved its day two score at the ECAC Division III Mid-Atlantic Championship by three strokes to finish with a 657 (+81) at Ravenwood Golf Club.  Nazareth remained in 14th place out of 16 teams.

NYU took first place with a 584 (+8).  St. John Fisher and Rutgers-Camden each had totals of 585 (+9), however, Fisher took second based on the scoring of its fifth player on day two.

Ian Brotherton remained as the top scorer for Nazareth with a tie for 50th place.  He improved four strokes with a 78 (+6) on Sunday for a two-day score of 160 (+16).

Jordan Holley had a 163 (+19) for 62nd place.  C.J. Murray had the biggest improvement going from an 87 on Saturday to an 80 on Sunday for a 167 (+23) and a tie for 73rd place.

Jonathan Gerken closed out the scoring with a 168 (+24), good for 75th place.

Dominic Cicchetti also competed for Nazareth with a two-day total of 172 (+28).

Nazareth closes out the fall season next weekend for the Nazareth Invitational.
