PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Nazareth college men's soccer team fell by a score of 3-1 to Colby-Sawyer College in its second game in as many days of the Plattsburgh Tournament.

Colby-Sawyer jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 23^rd minute.  Andrew Clothier slotted a shot off the inside post from the top of the box to open the scoring.

Just six minutes later Colby-Sawyer was at it again, as a pass across the box found the feet of Jake Sykes.  The scored remained 2-0 at the half.

Nazareth was able to draw to within one goal in the 55^th minute as the Golden Flyers found the net for the first time this season.  Yacov Zohn cashed in off a header after an initial shot from Dylan Toscano came off the crossbar.

For the game, the Chargers outshot the Golden Flyers 17-8.

Nate Ripic made the start in net for Nazareth, making nine saves in 90 minutes of action.

Nazareth returns to action at 7 p.m. on Wednesday when it will travel to Fredonia.
