Gabrielle LeBihan (19:00.1) and junior
Emily Thompson (19:08.1) were the top Golden Flyers in the women's 5-K meet, finishing 33rd and 38th, respectively. In the men's 6-K race, senior
Patrick Neureuter placed 95th overall with a time of 20:37.9 to lead Nazareth.
St. Lawrence took first in the women's meet with a score of 54 points, followed by RPI with 61 points, and Stevens with 83 points. The Golden Flyers finished 11th with 325 team points
Following LeBihan and Thompson, junior
Jamie DiSalvo and
Kimmy Lovett placed 89th and 91st, respectively. DiSalvo crossed the finish line with a time of 19:54.7 while Lovett was less than a second after her with a time of 19:55.4. Senior
Robin Wagner was the fifth Nazareth runner to finish; she placed 117th overall with a time of 20:18.3.
Freshman
Sage Miller completed the course with a time of 20:27.6 to place 133rd, and senior
Blair Meeson was seventh for the Golden Flyers and 151st overall with a time of 20:49.6.
Similar to the women's meet, St. Lawrence claimed first in the men's meet. The Saints tallied just 33 team points with four runners finishing in the top ten. NYU was second with 47 points while RPI was third with 99 points. Nazareth finished 17th as a team with 506 points.
Sophomore
Kevin Witt was the second Golden Flyer for the men. He finished with a time of 21:02.9 to place 130th overall. Junior
Matt Battaglia and freshman
Jack Wessel were separated by eight seconds less than a minute later. Battaglia was 188th with a time of 21:42.7, and Wessel was 198th overall with a time of 21:50.7. Nazareth's fifth runner,
Jacob Murray, was 234th with a time of 22:44.
Junior
Thomas Lannon and freshman
Jaxon Smith also finished in the Golden Flyers' top seven. Lannon was 261st with a time of 23.28.9, and Smith was 276th with a time of 24:25.9.
The Golden Flyers race again on September 26th when Nazareth's teams travel to Roberts Wesleyan for the Harry Anderson Invitational.
