Nate Ripic made seven of his 12 saves in the second to prevent Geneseo from stretching its lead.
Following the loss, the Golden Flyers drop to 2-7 overall. With the victory, Geneseo improves to 5-4-1 overall.
The Knights' Kevin McGrath opened the scoring 4:13 into the contest with an unassisted goal. McGrath's initial shot was saved, but he scored on the rebound. Roughly 30 minutes later, Stanley Egbuchulam tallied his second goal of the season to give Geneseo a 2-0 advantage. Chris Kanaval sent a long pass to Egbuchulam, who drilled a left-footed shot into the lower corner of Nazareth's net.
Jason Falk scored the Knights' third goal 39 seconds before halftime as he chipped a shot over Ripic and into the goal. Walter Savidis was credited with an assist on the goal.

Dylan Toscano also each added one shot on goal. Logan Calvey made all five saves to earn the victory for Geneseo. The Knights finished the contest with an 18-9 advantage in total shots and a 6-3 advantage in corner kick chances.
Nazareth resumes its Empire 8 schedule on Saturday October 4th when the Golden Flyers travel to Houghton.
