ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Selected athletes from Nazareth's men's and women's track and field team competed over the weekend at separate meets. Senior Jake Lafaver, junior Hannah Brackley and sophomore Gabrielle Lebihan each competed at Friday's Gator Invitational at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa. Junior Michaela Gildemeyer and sophomores Khiary Gayle and Luis Rivera each competed Saturday at the University of Albany's Purple and Gold Last Chance Meet.

Brackley finished third in the 400-meter dash with a time of :58.07, while Lebihan was seventh in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:25.25. Lafaver was ninth in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:53.70.

At Albany, Gildemeyer was fourth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:15.67 and Rivera was fourth in the hammer throw with a heave of 162 feet, 4 inches. Gayle was seventh in the triple jump with a leap of 42 feet, 3 1/2 inches.
