ABBOTTSTOWN, PA  -- Nazareth's women's golf team has two players in the top-10 after the first day of the McDaniel Spring Invitational. Junior Jennifer Lachell is in fourth with an 85, and senior Anne Czelusniak stands tied for ninth with a 92. Sophomore Sarah Gosek also represented the Golden Flyers on Saturday and is 28th with her score of 110.

With three golfers in action on Saturday, Nazareth is listed as Did Not Finish in the team standings. The Golden Flyers had a combined score of 287 between Lachell, Czelusniak, and Gosek. New York University is first in the team standings with 343, followed by Gettysburg with 359, and Washington & Jefferson with 390. McDaniel and St. John Fisher round out the scoring teams with 395 and 398, respectively.

The second day of the McDaniel Invitational is scheduled for Sunday. Sunday's schedule is dependent on the weather and course conditions.

Following the McDaniel Invitational, the Golden Flyers travel to the Gettysburg Invitational, April 5th-6th.
