Gabrielle LeBihan finished the women's five-kilometer course second overall with a time of 17:56.5. The women's team finished third of nine teams. Freshman
Kevin Witt was the first Golden Flyer across the finish line in the men's eight-kilometer race. Witt was 22nd overall and had a time of 27:24.3 to lead the men to a sixth-place finish out of eight teams.
Ithaca claimed first in the women's race with 35 team points. The Bombers placed seven runners in the top 12. Stevens was second with 44 points, followed by Nazareth's 84 points.
After LeBihan, the Golden Flyers had four runners in a span of five between 20th and 24th-place. Senior
Michaela Gildemeyer was the second Golden Flyer to finish and was 20th overall with a time of 19:10.7. Freshman
Kimmy Lovett was a fraction of a second later in 21st-place with a time of 19:11.0. About 10 seconds later, sophomore
Jamie DiSalvo and junior
Robin Wagner finished. DiSalvo was 23rd with a time of 19:21.2, and Wagner was 24th with a time 19:22.2.
Additionally, freshman
Andrea Larnard (20:03.8) finished 36th, junior
Blair Meeson (20:37.1) was 43rd, and freshman
Claire Ludington (21:40.5) placed 58th.
The Golden Flyers raced without sophomore
Emily Thompson, who missed the race with a foot injury. Thompson has been one of Nazareth's top runners since joining the Golden Flyers.
Similar to the women's meet, Ithaca took the men's title. The Bombers tallied only 21 total team points as they had five runners place in the top seven. Stevens was second with 45 points, followed by St. John Fisher with 108 teams. Nazareth finished sixth with 165 team points.
Sophomore
Jacob Murray was the Golden Flyers' second runner to finish. Murray crossed the line in 38th-place with a time of 28:20.2. Classmate
Matt Battaglia placed 49th with a time of 28:44.5, and junior
Patrick Neureuter finished 56th in 29:13.0. Nazareth's fifth runner was sophomore
Ethan Osborne, as he placed 70th with a time of 30:08.0.
Freshman
Kristopher Newell (30:48.4) and sophomore
Thomas Lannon (32:18.7) rounded out the Golden Flyers in 78th and 85th, respectively.
Nazareth is in action again November 15th when the Golden Flyers race in the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships at Genesee Valley Park.
