Updated statsGENEVA, N.Y. -- Host Hobart dominated Nazareth in a non-conference men's soccer match Tuesday. The Statesmen scored three times in each half for a 6-1 victory over the Golden Flyers at Boswell Field.
Nazareth dropped to 3-8 overall while Hobart improved to 7-4-1. Hobart has won the last nine meetings with the Golden Flyers in men's soccer.
Six different players scored for the Statesmen with Nick Dosky and Zico Gaeffke each accounting for one goal and one assist. Jacob Fox, Adrian Colmenares, DJ Clark and Sean Barry also scored.
Trailing 4-0 early in the second half, Nazareth got on the board in the 56th minute on the first career goal for freshman

Hobart had a 25-4 advantage in shots and a 3-0 edge in corner kicks. Freshman

Nate Ripic each played a half in goal for Nazareth and each made five saves. Tyler Serafine and Mike Lucas combined for the shutout for Hobart.
Nazareth returns to Empire 8 Conference play Saturday when the Golden Flyers host St. John Fisher at 3 p.m.
