ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Golden Flyers' women's cross country team finished sixth of 13 teams at Saturday's Yellowjacket Invitational at Genesee Valley Park. Nazareth's men's team finished the Invitational in 10th-place. Sophomore
Gabrielle LeBihan was Nazareth's top overall finisher as she completed the six-kilometer course with a 14th-place finish in 23:35. Senior
Matt Fedrizzi was the top finisher for the Golden Flyers in the men's eight-kilometer race as he placed 36th overall in 27:24.
Ithaca won the women's Invitational with a five-runner score of 45 points. Host Rochester was second with 54 points, followed by Denison with 74 points. The Golden Flyers finished sixth with a total of 192 points. The Bombers had two runners in the top five and all five of their scorers in the top 14. Rochester, meanwhile, had five runners in the top 16.

Emily Thompson was Nazareth second runner to cross the finish line as she placed 24th with a time of 23:58. Finishing third for the Golden Flyers was graduate student
Lauren Jamieson in 37th place (24:26). Senior
Lauren Heitzhaus and junior
Kassandra Lathrop rounded out Nazareth's top five. Heitzhaus was 75th with a time of 25:40, and Lathrop was 87th with a time of 25:56.

Meleana Spera (26:11.8) and freshman
Jamie DiSalvo (26:11.9) collected consecutive finishes in 97th and 98th, place, respectively. Freshman
Kelly Maloney (26:28) placed 106th overall, followed by sophomore
Blair Meeson (26:44) in 111th place. Junior
Victoria Burchill (27:59) placed 131st, and freshman
Alycia Andolina (29:22) placed 144th.
In the men's meet, the Yellowjackets claimed the top spot with only 20 total points. Rochester took the top three overall spots and finished with runners in six of the top nine places. Ithaca took second with 58 team points while Denison was third with 98 total points. The Golden Flyers finished 10th with a score of 263.

Jacob Murray was Nazareth's second finisher in 77th-place with a time of 28:36. Classmate
Ethan Osborne finished nine places later in 28:52. Sophomore
Patrick Neureuter and freshman
Matt Battaglia rounded out the top-five for the Golden Flyers in 105th and 111th, respectively. Neureuter finished in 29:56, and Battaglia's time was 30:09.

Thomas Lannon (30:23) finished in 111th-place. Senior
Zack Lafaver added a 130th-place finish with a time of 32:04.
Nazareth is in action again on September 28th when the Golden Flyers travel to Roberts Wesleyan for the Harry F. Anderson Invitational.
