ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Host Nazareth recorded a pair of three-set victories on Saturday evening. The Golden Flyers defeated Penn State Altoona by the scores of 25-21, 25-23, 25-15 and Milwaukee School of Engineering by the scores of 25-21, 25-17, 25-23 in two non-conference men's volleyball matches.
With the victories, the second-ranked Golden Flyers remain undefeated with a 18-0 record. The Lions have a 3-14 overall record following the loss and MSOE dropped to 1-8 overall after the loss. Of their 18 victories, Nazareth has won 13 of them in straight sets. The Golden Flyers also defeated third-ranked Juniata in three sets on Friday evening.
Against Penn State Altoona, 13 different players recorded at least one kill. Junior #

Cory Randolph# had a match-high eight digs for the Golden Flyers' defense. Nazareth held the Lions to hitting percentages of -.091, .346, and .100 during the three sets. The Golden Flyers, meanwhile, recorded attack percentages of .219, .412, and .615.
Josh Settle and Christopher Wisbeski each had seven kills for Penn State. Branden McGarvey amassed a team-high 24 assists.
Against MSOE, Levermore and Zyburt each recorded eight kills to lead the Golden Flyers' attack. Nine players finished with at least one kill to demonstrate Nazareth's balanced attack for the second time on Saturday. Wells-Spicer finished with a match-high 33 assists.
Defensively, Levermore recorded a team-high six digs. Wells-Spicer and classmate #
Dan Mowery# were credited with five digs apiece. Zyburt finished with a match-high four total blocks to thwart the Raiders' attack.
Brian Main had a match-high 11 kills for MSOE and Josh Avery finished with 27 assists.
The Golden Flyers are in action again at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6th. Nazareth hosts ninth-ranked Medaille in a UVC Conference match.
