MACEDON, N.Y. -- Nazareth's men's golf team competed Saturday and Sunday at the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Tournament at Blue Heron Hills Country Club. The Golden Flyers produced an eighth-place finish in the nine-team event with a total team score of 656. St. John Fisher, with seven of the top 11 invidual scorers, won the team title for the eighth year in a row with a team score of 566.

Sophomore James Sergeant was Nazareth's top individual finisher in 22nd place with rounds of 83 and 75 on the par-71 layout for a two-day score of 158. Brett Barton was one stroke back with scores of 80 and 79 for a 159 total.

Senior Nick Polito finished 37th with scores of 82 and 84 for a 166 total. Senior Ben Waldman (86-87--173) and junior Andrew Lund (89-89--178) also competed.
