CLINTON, N.Y. -- Junior Nick Polito and sophomore Dan Strack posted top scores for Nazareth Sunday as the Golden Flyers opened their men's golf season with a fourth-place finish at the Utica Fall Invitational at Skenandoa Golf Club.

Polito and Strack each had scores of 80 on Skenadoa's par-72 layout to lead the Golden Flyers, who had a team score of 326. Scranton won the team title with a score of 294. Elmira (306) was second and Stevens (315) third in the nine-team event.

Senior Jay Stith also competed for the Golden Flyers and shot 81. Other competitors were junior Ahren Henby (85); freshman Dan Studin (90); sophomore Andy Lund (90) and freshman Caleb McGuire (95).
