ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Nazareth continued its track and field season Saturday at the Raider Open hosted by Roberts Wesleyan. No team scoring was kept, but the Golden Flyers had a couple of noteable performances.

In the women's meet, sophomore Lauren Heitzhaus finished fourth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:25.08 and junior Keaghlan Morrissey was fifth in the 400-meter hurdles (:69.61). Senior Heather Irish also competed and placed 16th in the hammer throw (107 feet, 4 inches).

In the men's meet, freshman Ira Griffin finished second in the 100-meter dash and broke his own school record with a time of :11.02. Junior Phil Schierer was seventh in the 400-meter dash (:51.28). Freshman Ryan Holowesko finished 11th in the javelin (137 feet, 10 inches).
