Ellis Walsh tallied a team-high 15 kills to lead sixth-ranked Nazareth to a five-set victory over 11th-ranked Vassar in the Golden Flyers' first match of the United Volleyball Conference crossover, hosted by Stevens. Nazareth continues action at Stevens on Sunday with matches against New York University and New Paltz at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., respectively.
With the victory, Nazareth improves to 7-3 overall and 1-1 in UVC matches. Vassar falls to 2-3 overall and 0-2 in conference contests.

EJ Wells-Spicer amassed a match-high 58 assists and established a balanced attack as junior

Robert Kraft, and senior
Billy Gimello each finished in double-digits in kills. Houghtalen had 14 kills with just six errors. Kraft and Gimello finished with 13 kills apiece. Kraft recorded just three hitting errors. Junior
Dan Mowery recorded a match-high 15 digs, and Wells-Spicer added 11 digs. Kraft had a team-high four total blocks.
Matthew Elgin had a match-high 21 kills with just six errors for Vassar. John Konow amassed a team-high 45 assists and Luke Sobieraj had 11 digs. Elgin also recorded a match-high five total blocks.
