ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Sophomore Hannah Brackley finished first in the 400-meter dash and was part of Nazareth's winning 800-meter relay team Thursday as the Golden Flyers continued their men's and women's track and field seasons by competing in the RIT Early Season Invitational.

No team scoring was kept, but Brackley won the 400 in 1:01.88 and was joined in the relay by freshman Amanda Entress, Taylor Pierson and Sibongile Chisi to post a winning time of 1:50.41.

Other meet highlights included a first-place finish from Pierson in the long jump with a leap of 5.18 meters; a second-place finish from Nicole Greer in the 500-meter dash (1:31.26); and a third-place finish from Entress in the triple jump (10.21 meters).

In the men's meet, freshman Khiary Gayle finished second in the triple jump (13.80 meters); senior Pete Fekete was third in the 5,000-meter run (15:46.74) AND Phillip Schierer was second in the 500-meter run (1:09.95).
