CORTLAND, N.Y. -- Freshman Meaghan Porter was Nazareth's top individual finisher over the weekend as Nazareth's women's golf team competed at the Martin & Wallace Invitational at Cortland Country Club.

The Golden Flyers placed seventh in the team standings with scores of 400 and 423 for a two-day total of 823. Ithaca claimed the team title in the nine-team event with a stroke total of 634. Cortland was a distant second at 658.

For Nazareth, Porter had rounds of 95 and 93 for a 188 total, good for 31st place individually. Fellow freshman Anouluck Chanthabandith had scores of 97 and 95 to finish with a 192 total and 35th place individually.

Senior Mindy Fowler (111-115--226) and junior Alyssa Moffat (120-120--240) also competed for the Golden Flyers. Freshman Kelley Citrin posted a first-round score of 97, then withdrew due to injury.
