ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Nazareth dominated visiting Geneseo in a three-set women's volleyball match Wednesday. The Golden Flyers improved to 3-2 overall with the non-conference win. Scores were 25-14, 25-13, 25-20.
The Golden Flyers return to action this weekend as they host the annual Golden Flyers Invirtational. Nazareth plays Friday at 2 p.m. vs. Salisbury and at 6 p.m. vs. Fredonia.
Againist Geneseo, Nazareth used a balanced attack to post a .289 hitting percentage, including .364 in the first set, with 36 kills overall. Junior
Aubrey Cooke combined seven kills with seven assists, nine digs and five blocks. Junior
Amy Johnson had a ma5tch-high eight kills with five digs and junior setter
Brittany Crocetti amassed 25 assists with seven digs.
Nazareth also got a boost from a pair of freshmen as
Olivia Harrigan and
Maria Allocco each had five kills.
