CLIFTON SPRINGS, N.Y. -- Sophomore Jamie Schmidt was Nazareth's top individual finisher Sunday as the Golden Flyers continued their women's golf season at the William Smith Invitational at Clifton Springs Country Club.

Schmidt was tied for seventh place after posting scores of 100 and 93 on the par-72 layout. Nazareth placed fifth in the team standings with a two-day stroke score of 829. William Smith won the event with a score of 784. LeMoyne (785), Susquehanna (787) and Elmira (799) were close behind.

Freshman Jennifer Lachell (93-102 -- 195), junior Mindy Fowler (110-107 -- 217) and sophomore Alyssa Moffat (115-112 -- 227) also competed for Nazareth.
